Good news at Textbroker!
Weekly Payoffs
We will be transitioning to weekly payoffs. We will be starting with payoffs on the following dates:
September 5th
September 20th
September 29th
After this month, we will be scheduling a payoff every Friday. Please make your requests by Thursday 11:59 PM PST.
Author Profiles
While there have been a few problems with the new profiles, they seem to be a success. We've had a number of clients sending DirectOrders to authors just based on search strings, so if you get an order from someone you don't know, it's probably because of your profile information.
Please keep in mind that all changes have to be approved by an administrator, so there will be a delay in posting the information. We are currently working on the "travel" feature as well. We appreciate the updates when something isn't working, and we will give an update when the issues have been resolved.
Ratings
We are behind on ratings, but we are trying to catch up. We have a limited staff, and because we are trying to rate all authors in a timely manner, please limit emails to technical issues.
If you have completed your first five articles, please go to Assignments > Statistics. If they are all listed as "to be rated," feel free to send us an email. We cannot rate your initial articles until they have been accepted, so please do not contact us if your articles are still awaiting acceptance. Articles awaiting acceptance will be marked as "waiting" in your Statistics.
Auto-Accept
We will be turning off auto-accept for Labor Day weekend. Operations will return to normal on Tuesday.

I'd like a small clarification on the weekly payoffs: For this month, does that mean that our normal payoff should be requested by the 5th, as always, or that our current payoff is now due to be requested by the end of the 6th, with payment to follow on the 7th?

I'm not sure what slang to use to show my excitement. I had about 17 things happen all at once that are causing a little financial stress and weekly payoffs will make life significantly easier!
This is by far the best "job" I've ever had, and I've had some fun ones.

Question: Is anybody else having trouble viewing the author blog, like HTML issues? I see some red x's on my web page, at the top right, but a couple days ago, I could not even see writing here, so it has improved. :-)

Not to be too repetitive, but I too am ecstatic about Textbroker's new payment schedule! I see that the new payment submission deadline is now "11:59" EDT. It used to be PST. I just want to make sure I understood that the time zone for payoff request is also changing, as well as going from bi-weekly to weekly payments?! I am uncertain if anyone had provided a new way to check for plagiarism or not but I wanted to offer this site as it is free and you can use it as many times as you like, Just delete the previous article you had checked with it and paste in the new one to be checked. It has helped me a great deal in writing the articles that I have placed here as there has been no plagiarism in them and the site will check grammar as well as spelling. The site is www.paperrater.com

The payout schedule really helps make Textbroker a place I will do more of my writing. I have already received a few private clients based on my profile alone. It is a very powerful tool.
