Cool, it IS fun to be part of textbroker... I'm fairly new here, but loving it! (Had a slight glitch with a refusal from a client on something I don't think was fair, and so early in the game - after only about 20 articles - but I got over it and getting back into things again!)

Sorry this is a bit late, but thanks to all of you-this is a wonderful site to write for and I am so glad I discovered it. I am 61, and have been unemployed for over 2 years, so things are really tight, especially living on my own. I suffered a brain injury last year from a fall, and am waiting to be approved for disability. The injury causes a problem getting thoughts from my head to my fingers when typing. Where before I could type very quickly and accurately, it now takes me a whole day to type 300 words sometimes. I thought I'd never be able to use my skills again. But thanks to Textbroker and all of you, I can use my thoughts and skills to write the articles, and there is no pressure to get them written within an hour or whatever, as it was at my job, because I can choose articles that give me a couple of days to write. I try to pick articles that need to be researched, because this makes me use my brain, helping with my short and long term memory. You don't know how much this means to me.

Thanks again, Textbroker, for all you do.

What a pleasant surprise. It was most unexpected, thoughtful and truly appreciated. About this time last year, I recall getting an unexpected 2-day furlough. In these tough economic times--consider the recent Fed news about their 2-year pay freeze just before Christmas (but after a likely Black Friday blowout), these personal touches of kindness refuel the spirit. Gobble, gobble.

I, too, join the chorus, and sing "Hurray!" for Textbroker and the clients. It's been a delightful experience. Thank you.

I wish you the very best with your brain injury and life. I have a very close loved one who suffered a brain injury, quite a few years ago. He slipped on water on a concrete floor and fell down, and you know how the rest goes. He is doing very well, but yes, it does change a person's life completely.

God bless you and your family always! I am glad to hear that you are writing at textbroker and continuing to use your skills! Don't ever give up, even if it seems as though others have become discouraged. Life will turn out wonderfully, you will see. :-)

I too am very thankful that I found Textbroker, I am working hard to improve and contribute more to article writing. I haven't fully transitioned from working outside of my home yet, but I am working towards that goal. Then I will be able to concentrate more on freelance writing.
