You have probably heard about the “Heartbleed” bug over the past few days. Heartbleed is a vulnerability in OpenSSL encryption software. The vulnerability has affected the security of some businesses information that is normally protected by SSL/TLS encryption. The concern is that user data is vulnerable to theft.
Beginning April 10th, we did a thorough investigation and put in new security measures to ensure that your data is safe with Textbroker. Currently, Textbroker data has not been compromised and is not affected by this bug. We will continue to monitor our servers for any potential issues. However, we recommend that you change your password in case you are using that same password on a site that has been affected. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us!
When I registered with Textbroker in October of 2011, I was sure that I would receive a 4-star rating right off the bat and quickly achieve access to the vaunted 5-star OpenOrder pool. Since its inception, many of you have offered your feedback on the TeamOrders section of TB for authors. After reviewing your emails, forum posts and comments, we are especially excited to announce the arrival of a new and improved Open Casting Call page!
