We’ve noted your feedback in the Author Forum and are happy to offer you some clarification as to what these changes mean for you and how you should proceed in writing orders.
The change in ratings is two-fold – non-managed orders are now being rated for instruction compliance, and orders written for managed clients are now receiving star ratings.
We feel that offering the most comprehensive feedback to our authors not only provides them with the tools to improve their skills, but it also ensures that our clients are getting the content that best meets their needs.
As Google, businesses and consumers continue to stress the importance of content marketing and providing quality, useful information to readers, clients need text that is not only written well but also offers helpful material, fulfilling all their requirements. It's important that Textbroker reflects these priorities, which is why we will be incorporating instruction compliance as a factor in star ratings. While this change may seem intimidating at first, a little practice makes perfect. Below are tips to help you excel at following client instructions.
You have probably heard about the “Heartbleed” bug over the past few days. Heartbleed is a vulnerability in OpenSSL encryption software. The vulnerability has affected the security of some businesses information that is normally protected by SSL/TLS encryption. The concern is that user data is vulnerable to theft.
Beginning April 10th, we did a thorough investigation and put in new security measures to ensure that your data is safe with Textbroker. Currently, Textbroker data has not been compromised and is not affected by this bug. We will continue to monitor our servers for any potential issues. However, we recommend that you change your password in case you are using that same password on a site that has been affected. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us!
