Maybe It’s a Sign

“Some people have a way with words, and other people…oh, uh, not have way.”

― Steve Martin

Hello Authors!

Perfect grammar is the freelancer’s mythical beast– rumored to exist and ever sought-after. As we march on in the quest for the apex of grammatical goodness, we are bound to encounter a few wrong turns. This week, we’re bringing you a list of our favorite grammatically incorrect signs.

Exactly how much exzac cash do I owe you?

Morons: it takes one to know one!

 “Hmm…Maybe it’s time to turn around…”

This lot must be swamped!

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a grammar fatality!

Sometimes, it pays to be a rebel.

I totally agree, planning ahead and retaining information will help me be more descriptive. How can anyone write without a vision? This will help me focus more consistently.

Thank you for the advice.

Managing my time is my biggest problem. I write during my free time whenever possible, but I am also the mother of two toddlers that aren't in school yet, so it can get tricky! I am learning how to do both, though. All in due time, I suppose.

It really kills me when I come across an article or blog post with horrible grammar and spelling in general. Especially when the author actually mentions something about being a great writer with great content. When I see a badly written article, I am more inclined to skip over it, even if I feel I can learn something from. It just takes away from credibility for me.
